Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Communitee Socials application (the “App”), available at https://social.communitee.ai. The App is operated by COMMUNITEE AI - FZCO, a Free Zone Company with limited liability registered in Dubai under registration number DSO-FZCO-51546 (“we”, “us”, “our”).

By creating an account, logging in, or otherwise using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the App.

1. The App

Communitee Socials is a closed, invitation-only social media management platform for a vetted network of affiliate creators partnered with Communitee AI. The App provides content scheduling, compliance-aware caption generation with advertising disclosures, a post-approval workflow, and a unified engagement inbox across connected Facebook Pages and YouTube channels.

Access to the App is by invitation only. There is no public signup. The App is not a generally available consumer product.

2. Eligibility

To use the App you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old;
  • Have received a valid invitation from the Communitee partnership team;
  • Be authorised to connect the Facebook Pages and YouTube channels you add to the App (for example, by owning them or having explicit permission from the owner);
  • Not be prohibited from using the App under applicable law or under the terms of Meta, Google, or any other platform the App integrates with.

3. Your account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that takes place under your account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate account information;
  • Keep your password and any authentication tokens secure;
  • Notify us immediately at support@communitee.ai if you become aware of any unauthorised access to your account;
  • Not share your account credentials with anyone else.

We may suspend or terminate your account if we reasonably believe it is being misused, has been compromised, or is being used in breach of these Terms.

4. Acceptable use

The App exists to help affiliate creators publish compliant social media content. To protect the integrity of the App, your reputation, and the platforms we integrate with, you agree not to use the App to:

  • Post content that violates the terms of service, community guidelines, or advertising policies of Meta, Google, YouTube, or any other connected platform;
  • Post content that is illegal, fraudulent, defamatory, harassing, hateful, pornographic, or that infringes the rights of others;
  • Engage in spam, coordinated inauthentic behaviour, fake engagement, or any automated activity not expressly supported by the App;
  • Circumvent or remove advertising disclosure statements (“#ad”, “#affiliate”, “Ad |”) that the App adds to affiliate content. These disclosures exist to keep your posts compliant with the UK ASA/CAP Code, the FTC Endorsement Guides, and similar regulations in other jurisdictions;
  • Use the App to promote content in categories restricted or prohibited by the connected platforms (including but not limited to: unregulated financial products, unregulated health claims, counterfeit goods, gambling in jurisdictions where it is prohibited, or adult content on platforms that prohibit it);
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the App;
  • Introduce viruses, malware, or any other harmful code;
  • Interfere with the App's infrastructure or attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the App or its underlying systems;
  • Use the App to send unsolicited messages or perform mass outreach unrelated to your genuine audience engagement.

We reserve the right to review content posted through the App (including AI-suggested captions you have approved) and to remove content or suspend accounts that breach this section.

5. Final control over published content

The App is designed so that you retain final control over every piece of content published to your connected accounts. Where AI-assisted caption generation is used, the App produces suggestions which you review, edit and approve before anything is published. No post is published to your connected accounts without your explicit approval.

You are solely responsible for the content you choose to publish through the App, including content you have approved that originated as an AI-generated suggestion.

6. Advertising disclosures

If you are publishing affiliate content, sponsored content, or any content for which you receive compensation or commission, you are legally required (under UK ASA/CAP Code rules and equivalent laws in other jurisdictions) to disclose that commercial relationship clearly and upfront.

The App automatically appends advertising disclosure text (“Ad |”, “#ad”, “#affiliate”) to posts generated through its affiliate content features. You agree not to remove or obscure these disclosures. If you believe a specific post does not require a disclosure, it is your responsibility to ensure that the lack of disclosure is legally justified.

7. Connected third-party platforms

The App connects to Meta (Facebook Pages, Messenger) and Google (YouTube) through their respective APIs, subject to your explicit permission at the time of connection. When you connect a platform:

  • You must have the right to connect it and to publish content to it;
  • You remain subject to the terms of service and policies of that platform;
  • You acknowledge that those platforms may revoke our access at any time, and that revocation may limit or stop the App's ability to publish on your behalf;
  • You acknowledge that we are not responsible for actions taken by those platforms, including content takedowns, account restrictions, or policy changes.

YouTube API Services: By using the YouTube-related features of the App, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. The App uses YouTube API Services to upload videos you have approved to your own YouTube channel.

Meta Platform Terms: By using the Facebook and Messenger features of the App, you agree to be bound by the Meta Platform Terms and the Facebook Community Standards.

8. AI-generated content

The App uses large language models to generate caption suggestions based on your input and campaign settings. You understand that:

  • AI-generated content may occasionally contain factual inaccuracies, awkward phrasing, or suggestions that do not match your voice;
  • It is your responsibility to review and edit any AI-generated suggestion before approving it for publication;
  • You must not publish AI-generated content that makes unsubstantiated health, financial, or other regulated claims;
  • The App's compliance features (disclosure auto-append, rate limiting, approval workflow) are safeguards, not substitutes for your own editorial judgment.

9. Intellectual property

Your content. You retain all rights in the content you create and publish through the App. By using the App to publish content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, process and transmit that content solely as necessary to operate the App and deliver its features to you. We do not claim any ownership over your content.

Our App. The App itself, including its design, code, logos, trademarks, and underlying technology, is owned by COMMUNITEE AI - FZCO and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App without our written permission.

Feedback. If you send us feedback, suggestions, or ideas about the App, you grant us the right to use that feedback without obligation to you.

10. Fees

Access to the App is currently provided at no cost to invited affiliate partners as part of the Communitee partnership programme. We may introduce fees in the future, in which case we will give you reasonable notice and the opportunity to review the updated terms before any charges apply.

11. Privacy and data

How we handle personal information is described in our Privacy Policy. By using the App, you agree to the data practices described there.

12. Suspension and termination

By you. You may stop using the App at any time. To delete your account and remove your data, go to Settings → Account → Delete Account, or email support@communitee.ai.

By us. We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without notice, if:

  • You breach these Terms;
  • Your use of the App puts us, other users, or a connected platform at risk;
  • We are required to do so by law or by a connected platform;
  • We decide to discontinue the App or a specific feature.

Where practical, we will give you reasonable notice before termination. On termination, we will delete your account data in accordance with the Privacy Policy, subject to any legal retention requirements.

Sections 4, 9, 13, 14, 15 and 18 survive termination.

13. Disclaimer of warranties

The App is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that:

  • The App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure;
  • The App will always be compatible with the current versions of Meta, Google, YouTube, or any other connected platform;
  • AI-generated suggestions will be accurate, appropriate, or fit for any particular purpose;
  • Any content you publish through the App will achieve any particular result, reach, engagement, or revenue.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

14. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profit, revenue, data, business, goodwill, or reputation, arising out of or related to your use of the App.

Our total liability to you for all claims arising out of or related to the App, however arising, is limited to the greater of (i) the amount you have paid us, if any, for access to the App in the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (ii) one hundred U.S. dollars (US$100).

15. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless COMMUNITEE AI - FZCO, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or in any way connected with:

  • Your access to or use of the App;
  • The content you publish or submit through the App (“User Content”);
  • Your breach of these Terms;
  • Your breach of any third-party platform's terms or policies;
  • Your violation of any applicable law or of any third party's rights.

16. Changes to the App

We are constantly improving the App. We may add features, change features, or remove features at any time. Where a change materially affects how you use the App, we will give you reasonable notice.

17. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top and notify active users by email at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the App after the changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

18. Governing law and disputes

These Terms, and any dispute arising out of or relating to them or the App, are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates — the jurisdiction where COMMUNITEE AI - FZCO is organised — without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any such dispute will be resolved exclusively in the competent courts located in that jurisdiction, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction and venue of those courts. This does not remove any mandatory consumer right you have to bring proceedings in the country where you are resident.

19. Miscellaneous

  • Entire agreement. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the App.
  • Severability. If any provision is held to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect.
  • No waiver. Our failure to enforce a provision does not waive our right to enforce it later.
  • Assignment. You may not assign or transfer these Terms without our written consent. We may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
  • No partnership. Nothing in these Terms creates a partnership, joint venture, employment, or agency relationship between you and us.
